The Eagle has landed ...

Yes, after being absent for eleven months we are back ... finally!!! 

 What a nice surprise when we came into our room. Beautiful flowers and a SIM card from our good friend HOAN CANDY !!!

Long story short, unpacking, dinner and a good night sleep ... and today things are not going to well ... so many changes ... and we are both a bit down. The jet lag and the the heat does not help ... No massage today ... but definitely tomorrow.

Luncheon at Lake MacDonald

Last Saturday, 20th of August we had a fund raiser luncheon at lake MacDonald. About 50 people came to enjoy wonderful food and fellowship. Here just some snap shots...

Yes, another year is over and we can't wait to go back. We will have a couple of mile stones in VN, a birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary.
However, we have an action plan worked out ... still need to fill some gaps but it will be a tight schedule as usual.

One of the fun tasks is teaching English at the Company of Grace ...

... attending the Opening Ceremony of the new school year at the Hope school for hearing impaired children.

Another highlight is the trip to the Mekong delta, visiting and interviewing kid of our educational support program.

High on the agenda are visits to the Tu Du Peace Village in Sai Gon, walking distance from our hotel.
This is only the first week ... a lot more to come !!!
