Radio interview ...

Thursday, 1st of September

This morning we had to be at the Company of Grace at 9:45 the latest, as we had arranged a radio interview with Jeanette on Rhema FM 106.5 at 10 am or 1 pm in Australia.
On the way to CoG we dropped the laptops for the Hope school off. What a surprise … Diep was very HAPPY, why shouldn’t she be. After a short stop we continued to Hoa’s place. Had a bit of a chin wag before we rang Jeanette. New time … a quarter past one. Finally everything was set up and working and we started the interview. Matt was talking about this year’s progress and introduced Hoa … then the connection went. At first we though we had no more credit left, but that was not the case. Got Jeanette on the line … tried again … no luck. We agreed to just chat off air … and will try again in a weeks time. See how we go.

We chatted and had a good look at the photos Matt had taken on the 21st, the day of the Grand Opening of the Company of Grace Centre. 252 photos … will put them all on a USB stick for Hoa. Mark had cooked up a storm … BBQ chicken with potato and onion plus a nice garden salad. We polished it all off!!!!

Taxi back to the city … had to see our banker. Problems with two of the receiving accounts in the tranfers we did yeaterday. Incorrect account number. Mr Vu fixed it for you ~ us!!! Another signature and everything was sweet. We had to do another transfer for CoG, it went without a glitch. As a matter of fact we received an e-mail from Hoa three hours later that the funds have arrived!!!

Just after 3pm we arrived back at the hotel. The girls were all waiting for the birthday cake. We had empty half the fridge to fit it in last night. Can’t keep the cake at room temperature … We had a cupper in the foyer eating the cake and lots of fun.
