31st of August: A very busy day. Part 1

It sure was a busy day, but a very good one, to say the least.

At 8 AM we received an email that our rental property might be rented out from November onwards. Praise the LORD !!!

After breakfast we went to the Peace Village to meet with Dr Nhi and with Phu. Phu is a second year IT student. Phu was borne without arms. How can he study IT ... we asked and lookd at each other.

Phu demonstrated quick smart how he does it. Very talented ... His parents are from the north of Viet Nam.

It is amazing what he can do without hands ...

Phu and his father moved to Sai Gon so Phu can study IT, they both live on the campus and Phu's father got a job at uni. Phu needs someone to help him with certain tasks.
Lien, second from left also has got no arms, she lives in the Peace Village. Group photo with Dr.Than and 2IC as well as nursing staff.
We had lunch together with the kids and the staff of the Peace Village. The occasion was Independence Day, so we were invited too. Great opportunity to mingle. Phu was sitting at the next table.
Phu was drinking beer too, the guy sitting next to him was holding the beer glass for him ...

Our friend Hoan was sitting at our table ... we had a three course lunch, and lots of VUI. This was a good opportunity to see the older kids of the Peace Village. They usually come and go as they meet friends or come back from school later.

Lien has such a nice smile ...

Phuong has VUI ... FUN !!! She studies Physiotherapy
Diep needs a hand with this kind of food, otherwise we have seen her eating independently

Our new educational support receiver Phu
