Childrens clothes for shelters

This morning we met with Boa from "TOUCH A LIFE" shelters to hand over the majority of clothes we had received in Australia. This is how our big 20.5 kg bag arrived.

Lucky, the bag held until it was thrown on the carousel in Sai Gon.

Lucky us, nothing was missing from the bag.


I took some photos once we had sorted the clothes. The majority went to the orphans in shelters here in Sai Gon, some warmer clothes will go to the highlands. However, the baby clothes will go to the pregnant women shelter. 

Just after lunch we received this wonderful email, see below.

 

Hello Matt and Uli,

Thanks again for all the lovely clothes for the babies and the children, plus the stuffed animals. Please tell all of those who donated the items how grateful we are and that we really appreciate their thoughtfulness. Everything is a wonderful blessing for the babies and the children.
 
Have a good trip to the Delta.
