Tuesday, 29th AUG: We arrived ..

  On Tuesday, 29th of August we had to be at the airport at 6am for our 9:10 flight to Singapore. All went well ... it's a waiting game. 

Eight hours flight, then two hours in SIN. Finally another two hours flight to SAI GON. Xin chào Việt Nam !!!

 
  We arrived in perfect weather; it's monsoon season but it was not raining. Visa on arrival was quick, then we had to wait for our luggage. When we went trough customs there was our VN daughter Hoan to welcome us !!! What a nice surprise. 
  Together we took a taxi to our hotel. Upon arrival we received a welcome drink and some fresh fruit and in the meantime our luggage was taken up to our room.
By the time we hit the sack it was 10:30 ... we were up for about  22 hours. We slept well.
