Friday ... I got MUSIC in my ears ....

Good day Australia, this is VINA calling. What a good morning it has been!!!

We had breakfast, chewing the baguette ... all of a sudden Uli laughed ... Vietnamese wardrobe malfunction ... see photo.
After breakfast we were just chatting and joking around with Mrs KIM the friendly receptionist here at AN AN hotel. A guy came down and asked Kim why he was receiving all those funny messages on his mobile phone. Matt had to put his five bob in ... and sure enough we had a long ond meaningfull conversation with Wayne from NZ.

It turned out that Wayne is a Baptist youth pastor, and like us he is coming to HCMC for four years. He is involved with various charities. Wayne is also a guitar teacher and he had bought 12 guitars, which he donated to various organisations, one of them being the Christina Noble foundation. We gave Wayne our business card and he looked us up on the net.

Wanye is flying back tomorrow and he had a problem. He had one guitar left. When we got back to our room the mobile rang. It was Wayne and he offered us the LAST guitar to take to HOA's opening ceremony tomorrow. Two minutes later he was at the door and gave us this beautiful, brand spanking new guitar. Praise the LORD!!!

His wife and daughter came as well and we had a good chat and explained to them what we are all about. Wayne told us that he wanted to show his daughter parts of Viet Nam including some of the orphanages so she could get to see and feel for herself. She tried to work in an orphanage as a volunteer for three month, she is not yet 18. The leagal age to work in an orphanage is 18.

Matt got the HONDA OM ... a motorbike taxi to a plant shop and bought two hibiscus plants for tomorrow.

At 3 pm we had a meeting with Xuan and Huong at the Saigon Times Foundation. Was all good and fruitful. We discussed the state of current and future projects.

Walked back home via Benh Thanh Markets ... admin time again ... and now it's nearly dinner time!!!
