Claude going home with little Hien on the honda
As we reported earlier, we handed over about 20 kg of baby and kids clothes which were donated by members of the Coolum Beach Baptist Church congregation and some by friends from Sydney.
Please find the "Thank You" e-mail from Bao and Claude below as well as some photos taken by Claude. As you can see the clothes were well received.

Facts about "Touch a Life" shelters:
Claude and Bao run 12 shelters for orphans in Sai Gon, (approx. 160 children) and one in Cambodia as well as a shelter for pregnant women. All care givers in the shelters are Christians and bring up the children the Christan way.

The pregnant women have bible studies every day during their stay in the shelter. On average, women stay in the shelter for 3 month. Boa and Claude try to keep in touch and help them out whenever they can after they leave.
Currently Claude and Bao care for five children at their own home.
Hello Matt and Uli,
It was nice seeing you again the other day.
Thanks so much for the phones that you gave us.
Please tell everyone who gave the children's clothing and stuffed animals that we are very grateful. The clothes and things are beautiful. I have been able to go through everything and see what will fit the children we are raising and what will be given to other children. A lot of the clothing was for younger boys which is a wonderful blessing because the boys we are raising at our house and at Bao's sister's house really needed some nice clothing for pre-school which starts at the end of this month. For some reason we normally get a lot of girls clothes and not boys, so this was great.

There was a large amount of baby clothing and this will be given to the pregnant girls who were originally going to abort their babies. I will send another email with some piuctures of one of the pregnant girls we already gave some things.
Some of the children's clothing has long sleeves and is thicker clothing. I have already put these aside and they will be sent for the tribal children in the Central Highlands the next time someone goes there. As you know the temperatures are cooler there and the warmer clothing will be good for them.
I have taken a few pictures of our children with some of the clothes given and have attached them. I will send more photos as the children wear some of the clothing.
Thanks again for this blessing,
Claude and Bao
