Sunday night we met a new CVSG supporter. Leong lives in Singapore and has got regular business in Sai Gon. He is the one who responded on Facebook to our announcement that we are looking for individual sponsors for the 12 children who will start school for the first time in their lives in September.
The kids are between 6 and 11 years old. It is planned that they will be taught in the afternoon after normal school finishes. The local authorities have waved the school fees, all we have to pay for is HEALTH INSURANCE for the students, SCHOOL BAG,BOOKS and stationary as well UNIFORMS and SHOES. On the 1st of September we will go to the school to register the new students. We are so looking forward. It took nearly a year to get to where we are today.
